Qi Scapes ~ a Field Guide to how life reorganizes when Qi is allowed to move

Where the Field reveals what is not yet connected Today in Qigong, we were asked to do something deceptively simple: Do not change the speed. Not faster. Not slower. The same speed. Hands, feet, heel, shift—everything moving together. It sounds easy until it isn’t. Somewhere in the movement, something breaks: the hand rushes ahead the foot hesitates the balance wavers And there it is-- the place where I am not yet connected. Master Lu said: only when you move slowly can you see where you need to adjust. I felt that. Slow motion as a kind of honesty. Not fixing. Not forcing. Just revealing. A Gate. Not a block-- but a place where the field shows me what hasn’t yet learned to move together. At times I didn’t move like a cat. But I stayed in the circle. And I’ll continue to practice Even in the kitchen As the pasta water comes to a boil. Paula Field Source: Tao of Morning Qigong with Grand Master Nan Lu

Earth Day Field Note
Today I look inside the word Earth and find my own instructions: ART ~ EAR ~ HEART EAR to listen, HEART to feel, ART to shape what is alive. I stay close to the ground that holds them all. |
